8/13/20: St. Jude Statue Beheaded in Denver

Just as Catholics in the archdiocese of Denver begin a rosary chain for the assaults on Catholic parishes, their own Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish was vandalized!

A statue of St. Jude was beheaded on the grounds and votive candles of an outdoor shrine were smashed. Security at the parish will be increased. There are no leads on a suspect.

“As our archdiocese begins a Rosary Crusade this weekend, one of our specific intentions is to pray for the conversion of those who carry out acts of desecration against our churches, statues, and religious symbols.”

Video captured a man entering St. Joseph parish on July 21, and intentionally attacking a statue of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

This was one of a long line of attacks on Catholic parishes this summer. Please pray for justice and God’s will be done!
